The staff of INOIL SERVICE S.A. in Athens is hired based on their skills, in order to meet the needs of a specific position. After his/her recruitment, each newly-hired employee attends a training seminar/receives training on the following topics:
- Method of corporate organisation and operation and, in particular, his/her department
- The Company Quality Management System, particularly with regard to his/her department
Identification of staff training needs is key to improving quality. The training provided by the company aims to help the company's executives and employees understand the changes and improvements they can incorporate into their areas of responsibility, in order to achieve continuous quality improvement of the company's products and services. The training takes place inside and outside the company and its documentation is kept in the individual staff files. Training is divided into two categories:
- general training related to the general principles and quality policy of the company, and
- specialized training, where problems and operations of individual specialties and job positions are addressed
Identifying the training needs of staff is the responsibility of the managers of their respective departments, who discern the real needs and make recommendations to the administration. The inspection results, as well as any problems or shortcomings found, are taken seriously into account when identifying training needs. At the same time the departmental managers, as well as the Quality Manager, are responsible for the evaluation of the training provided, so that it is constantly improved.
There can be no ignorance or negligence of the Quality Management System, since the primary purpose of the company is the training of its staff, part of which is also the analysis of the applied ISO 9001 System.
